Cold In Berlin
After tearing up stages for the past two years and gaining a solid fan base that continues to grow exponentially, Cold In Berlin are cranking up their aural assault on the world. Against all odds Cold in Berlin delivered with "Give Me Walls" (Dec 2010, 2076 Records) one of the stand out albums of the year. Infused with DIY ethics of Warhol-era rock n' roll, they offer an incendiary energy reminiscent of early grunge and even earlier no-wave, yet the noise they make is all their own.
Cold In Berlin create sinister hooks that will bond your blood cells to the dark side then release them straight to your head with gloriously pounding crescendos, like Siouxsie Sioux smacking you in the face with a Mudhoney record.
Tight driving beats and razor sharp guitars provide an array of exciting back drops for My’s astounding vocal assault, a whirling, howling female dervish. They literally and viscerally engage with you, fast and powerful and vibrantly alive.
While launching their own "Witch House" club in East London, Cold In Berlin are about to release new "White Horse" EP, featuring exclusive new remixes.
