Foreign Office
Originating from sunny Great Yarmouth, 4-piece Foreign Office release debut single 'Hands & Knees' through Quiet Life Records on 7th November 2011. Comprising of Paul Cousins (vox/bass), George Hume (guitar), James Woodley (drums) and Duncan Hillman (keys) the band have developd a distinctive sound, combining blue eyed soul, funk and touches of 80s post-punk to form their 'Post Punk Soul'. Recent tour support for former Libertine Carl Barat and Atlantic's Wolf Gang only furthered to stamp the bands enigmatic dexterity on stage and gave them a taste of performing to crowds of nearly 6000. Forein Office nail pop hooks with post-punk austerity and make records that embrace elements of Talking Heads, Roxy Music and the twisted disco of Hot Chip. The band commence on a UK headline tour throughout October.
