Lizzie & The Yes Men
Lizzie & The Yes Men are a four piece band who blend the cinematic sounds of Tarantino with surf pop and a good dose of british punk. 'What one gets is a morish mix of the surf rock complete with the catchy swing and harmonies a la The Beach Boys in a headlong collision with the angular pomp of ESG and Gang of Four' (Dazed and Confused). Their strong vocal arrangements and knack for writing catchy indie songs has set them apart. Based in East London, Lizzie Holdforth, Keir Greenaway, Brendan Bailey and Andy Goodman have performed in a variety of venues over the last 9 months. From House of Vintage, Brick Lane to the Embassy Club, Soho, Ronnie Scotts, The Macbeth, Vice Magazine's Old Blue Last and XOYO. The band's growing creative ambition to put on a 'proper' show has proven to excite audiences alike. Their confident and vivacious performance delivers foot stomping popiness, tailored style with a fun and effortless attitude. Having returned from a successful tour of Italy with LOTTAROX AGENCY, they are now set to release their first single and video 'You and I Both Know' available to download from October.
