The Cads
In the space of 18 months The Cads have gone from sold out local gigs in their hometown of Ipswich, to Lake stage appearances at Suffolk’s Latitude, and onto playing sold out shows in Germany after supporting Darwin Deez on their European tour in September 2010.
Forming in September 2009 to pursue a ‘new’ sound from the remnants of other bands they were in. The original 4 piece jammed together looking for a weird, tropical noise. In early 2010 they added a keyboard player and this completed the band’s sound.
The Cads are: Stefan Vincent – Guitar/Vocals, Tom Bishop – Guitar/Vocals, Nathan Garrity – Bass / Vocals, Ryan Conway – Keys/Percussion, James Brown - Drums

Club of Rome shows the progression and maturity of the band’s infectious draping guitars and their technically gifted choruses. Finally the up-tempo machine-like drumming and swathes of harmonies gives the track its summer soundtrack hallmark. Comparisons as outrageous as Wham to the more stylish Klaxons have been loosely mentioned.
Support at radio has come from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Xfm and Absolute Radio.
