Wild Palms are Lou Hill (Vocal, keys & pads), Darrell Hawkins (Guitar), Gareth Jones (Bass) and James Parish (Drums).
Since forming in 2008, the band have signed to One Little Indian and have played alongside the likes of Gang of Four and have toured with Cold War Kids, Good Shoes, The Warlocks and The Big Pink around both the UK and Europe as well as playing many festivals. The bands debut album, Until Spring, produced by Gareth Jones (also produced These New Puritans, Wire, Depeche Mode) drew influences and noise from obscurities such as a 30ft water tank and was written, recorded and produced in the bands self built studio. The album was released in March 2011 and received glowing reviews from Artrocker, Q magazine, The Fly, Clash and The 405.

The band have also been featured in publications such as NME, The Sunday Times and also received vast amounts of blog coverage.
As grandiose and melancholic as befits a song that nods to a Virginia Woolf novel… an expansive, romantic new sound for Wild Palms that hints at the sonic ambition of Wild Beasts’ NME
The band are currently in the studio writing their second album and have finally found their stride in terms where they want to be. As much as they are proud of their debut album they feel it almost (but unintentionally) became a transitional record between their sound as their previous band Ex Lion Tamers and the sound they have today, they are much content and not itching to change as quickly but importantly they are excited to play them to everyone.
